For a relaxing atmosphere, one in which cars and golf carts pass about the same number of times, Treasure Cay stands out as exemplifying the stereotypical relaxation that the Bahamas encapsulate. Treasure Cay offers an overabundance of water sports from Scuba diving and snorkeling to boat rentals and charter fishing. For a good time on dry land the area houses the Treasure Cay golf club, a challenging eighteen hole golf course. It is one of the two golf courses on Great Abaco, but the only one where a tee time is not necessary. As far as beaches, Treasure Cay offers wide beaches of white sand that go on for miles just outside of the few resorts, which offer a break from the crowded scenes of other areas. Ferries are available to Green Turtle Cay as well.
